I will so miss Mike at our reunions.  Believe he and Susie never missed one and he was as fun at these events as he always was in school. He was a good friend through junior high and high school. Mike was always fun loving and so very nice to everyone.  Such a kind and caring person; a real gentleman.  He will be missed.  Hope that Susie can join us at our reunion this year.  It would be so nice to see her.  Mike had so many good friends who would like to visit with her in his absence and share stories...

I will miss Mike.  We knew each other since we were 4 years old.  He was my best friend.  What a great fellow.  He and his wife Susie were so kind to my family, my daughter, and all.  Big hearted, kind, supportive, well, he was just great.

I worked with Mike at Leeker's IGA where we spent many a late night sorting pop bottles and stocking shelves. After work on my 18th birthday, Mike took me to the Tropics Lounge on north Broadway for my first legal beers. I always think of that night and get a chuckle remembering the cheap cigars we smoked and those Schlitz Malt Liquors with a twist of lemon we consumed.

I lost track of Mike when he left for the Army and I headed off for boot camp but always hoped to run into him again some day.

When I was notified of the North Hi Class of '65 website the first person I wanted to locate was Mike. I was really saddened to find out of his passing. I'll never have the chance to buy him a beer,  thank him for the memorable birthday bash, and catch up on the years that that flew by.
