Milton was a really good friend and I particularly remember his going fishing with our family one hot summer weekend, way back in junior high (Pleasant Valley).  We had a great time and shared a lot of stories...stayed up late talking.  He was a real track star and excelled in high jump ... had the school record if i recall.  Milton was one of the first friends I'd ever lost and it was such a shock to hear the news.

This is another example of" the good die young".   Milton was a fine young man & deserved better!

I  had no idea Milton had passed, he was the only guy I have ever met that could really poll vault, man he could go 12-13 feet and I was amazed. I hadn't seen Milton for probably ten years and when I was home one time after  being in the Navy I ran into him. It was so funny, he was working at a stop and rob down on south Broadway and Alan Herman and I stopped in. I did'nt shave or get a hair cut for four years after I got out of the Navy, Milton recognized me and as soon as he said Danny I said Milton and he took this hair net off and his hair went beyond his shoulders. Every time I hear that song "Signs" I think of Milton with his hair up under his hat, that was so cool. Neat guy!
