Lathem, Trudy Ann (Hall), 64. Jesus took away the earthly struggle of our wife, mom and grandma on November 24, 2011. She was dedicated to her husband, her children and her grandchildren. She loved dogs and horses. She worshipped Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Those devastated and left to cling to the promise of the resurrection are her husband, Allen; son Christopher and wife Linda; daughter, Dr. Teresa Burks and husband Freddie; her grandchildren, Abigail, Madison, Reagan and Andy Lathem, Niya Burks and her father Emmett Hall. She is also survived by brothers Mike and Pat and sister Terry. Services will be at Aldersgate United Methodist Church (7901 W. 21st St North) where Trudy and her husband were active members for nearly 25 years, on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Memorials with Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Kansas Humane Society.

It sadden me to hear that Trudy had passed away. I am thankful that she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We were in the same class several times througthout our high school days and she was a dear friend. I regret that I did not put some effort in locating her when I was there for the 45th reunion. I really enjoyed talking and kidding with her, and she was a pleasant and beautiful person. She will be missed by not just family members but also classmates of the Class of 65.
