Hix, Wayne, 67, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. He was born June 14, 1947, to Cleo and Eleanor (Cunningham) Hix in Wichita, KS. Wayne graduated from North High School and served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Leo M. Hix. Wayne is survived by his brother, Jere (Jeannie) Hix; nieces and nephews, Mark (Kathleen Thorne) Hix, Christopher (Elizabeth) Church, and Kellie (Adrian) Woodworth; and a large extended family. Rosary: 7 p.m. Wednesday; Funeral 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015, both at St. Mary Faith Center, 2300 E. Meadowlark Rd., Derby, KS 67037. Interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
