Hoover, Michael W., 67, passed away on March 11 in Marietta, GA, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 29, 1947, in Wichita, KS, and was a graduate of Wichita North High School. He was the youngest son of Jacob and Margaret Hoover. Michael is survived by two brothers, Gary from Mesquite, TX, and Ronald from Marietta, GA. Prior to moving to Marietta, GA, for medical reasons, Michael lived in Galveston, TX. He was retired from the University of Texas Medical Brance where he worked as a Pharmacy Technician.  In retirement, he worked at the Seven Seas Grocery in Galveston.  His colleagues gave him the title "Iton Mike" because of his tremendous work ethic.  A memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 on April 8 at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
