I consider Micki one of those good friends I had through my Junior High and High School life!  She and I seemed to get in our fair share of mischief (details not to be shared!).....    Micki remains in my memory as such a sweet person!

I, too, remember Micki fondly from junior high and high school. She was a lovely girl with a sweet disposition. I lost track of her over the years, but I hope she had a great life and I extend sympathies to all those who have been close to her.

My goodness, this shakes my world. We had not had contact since high school, but she was the iconic "popular" girl. It all keeps getting closer and closer to home as we all age. My sincere sympathies to her family and loved ones. Once, again, left this world way too soon. She was always "bubbly" and efervesent.

I first met Miki in 1959 when attending Garrison we were in the same class.  We went to Marshall and North together, I didn't see Miki after graduation until 1990 at our 25th Reunion and then again in 2000.  Miki was always a very nice person and she will be missed.

Micki and I were great friends. We spent a lot of time together the summer between our Junior years and Senior years at North. There were many summer nights dragging Douglas and getting pizza at Pizza Hut. We met some boys from Virginia at Sandy's one night. We thought those southern boys were so fun, almost as much fun as Wichita boys, we laughed and laughed. Those were such innocent days. I'd go back there in a minute! Micki was such a doll and we had so many great times together.

I was so sad to hear about Micki's passing.  She was one of the "Womer Drive Girls".  My family moved to Womer Drive in the summer before third grade and I believe Micki's family moved in shortly thereafter.  We attended Garrison together and spent summers playing with our dolls and walking or riding our bicycles to shop at Duckwalls or have a snack at the drug store in the same center.  Summer evenings were spent playing in the street with Micki, her brothers, Pete and Dennis, and the other kids on the same street.  I am sorry that I lost contact with Micki through the years, but I will always remember what fun we had together and what a wonderful person she was.
