My friendship with Carmen began only a few years back and is, for me, at the heart of my involvement with our class reunion activities.  We did not know one another during our high school years, but it turns out after age 60, we began to see each other every Friday night for dinner, and into the late night lively conversations.  Our group of a steady 4 couples, plus other occasional friends, called ourselves the Friday Night Friends!  So, it was long after high school that I began to know Carmen.  What a wonderful and unique friend and person she was!  If you knew Carmen, you share my sadness at her passing.    My life is better because of having had Carmen McGregor Dorsey in my life....

Sharon, I was lucky to know Carmen during high school.  We carpooled together our junior and senior years.  what a trip to start and end the school day with the laughs and fun she brought.  thanks to you, Sharon, I was able to reconnect with Carmen several years ago.  Only then did i learn Carmen came to North from Hamilton, so she knew no one to start with, not easy to do.  i share your sadness in losing her so soon.
