Richard was one of my classmates from John Marshall thru North -- a nice young man.  Very, very bright -- what a waste of a good brain.  I knew him to be kind and considerate of most people.  It was hard to be smart if you wanted to be popular -- a lot of young people were in that catagory.  He was quiet and undemanding but had a ready laugh.  I'm glad that I knew him and was sorry to hear of his death.

Richard was a great guy, we ended up with lockers next to each other because of our names in gym so we got to know each other. Richard was sort of the streight man and I was the clown but we developed a good friendship over the years. Richard was very intellegent and well you know me, but we still enjoyed each other even though we were so different. So sorry to hear he is gone.  Danny

Richard was my friend and neighbor on Garland.  I remember his desk was behind mine in 5th grade at Woodland and he liked to tease by pulling my pony tail...he was quickly reading his book by the time I could turn to say, "Stop that!"  After High School, our paths would sometimes cross and over a cup of coffee in the Student Union he would talk of his studies in economics, philosophy, etc.  The news of his death just before our 35th High School reunion was very sad to hear.

Richard was always so nice. I never saw or heard of him making fun of anyone or saying anything unkind. I think we were in a couple of clubs together? My sympathies to his family.

I always enjoyed Richard.  Didn't know him that well but enjoyed being around him at North High School.  Praying for his family during this time.
