Since Reynolds and Rhodes were close alphabetically, Sandy and I got to know each other in the classes we shared.  She was always so funny.  I lost touch with her after school, but many years later I was at my little sister's birthday party and heard a very familiar laugh.  Sure enough it was Sandy.  We stayed in touch, thanks to my sister, for many years.  I was very saddened to learn of her death in a car accident in 2006.  (I think it was 2006.)

Sandy became my sister-in-law when she married my brother, Lyell (Butch) Waggoner, after high school! She certainly added a lot of fun to the family and was a delightful sister-in-law.   Although she and my brother were divorced by the time of her death, it was very sad news for our family and her daughters.
