Mullins-Malone, Shirley J., 58, House of Schwan assistant comptroller, passed away Nov. 15, 2005. Memorial service 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, West Side Christian Church.
Survivors: son, Kevin Mullins of Hutchinson; sisters, Kathleen Rogers, Karen Slattery of Wichita; 5 grandchildren. All Faiths Funeral Services.

Linda Kay Miller (Bowles)
The last time I saw Shirley was at our 25th reunion. We had so much fun in Irving and Horace Mann. I did not get to know her that well as an adult, but I know she was just as pretty and her smile contagious. I know she had one son.
Sally Jean Jenkins (Unrau)
Shirley and I go back to our first week of life. She was born 1/1 and I was born 1/7. Our moms were best friends and so were we. We played together daily, started school together and graduated together. We remained close through our adult lives. I held her hand and suffered with her through her cancer. I miss her terribly.
