I attended school with Jerry at McLean, Marshall, and North.  Along with Larry Bush, and Gary Davidson we car pooled to Marshall. Jerry's mother was great.  I last saw Jerry at the Taco Pete on 13th street years ago.  We had a nice talk, he was in the Airforce and had finished medical school.  Things seemed to be going great for him.  Jerry will be missed.

I remember Jerry quite well. I don't believe I ever saw him again after high school. I keep thinking I knew him from McClean Elementary. He must have lived out in the Twin Lakes Area where I grew up. He always had a smile on his face. Someone mentioned he was easy going and I agree. Wow, he accomplished so much in his life. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. I did find a current picture of him on line when I searched.  Another one, gone too soon,

I remember Dr. Jerry Wible from both John Marshall and North; We had some classes together including PE.  Jerry was always somewhat quiet, happy and very friendly.   When I read this when I got  up this morning it came as a surprise and a shock.  I did not know he became a Doctor, and did not know he had served at Offutt AFB, NE.  I did too but a few years before Jerry.  He also lived in an area now not to far from where my dad grew up and my grandparents l lived in  Missouri.  I to used to fish in rivers around my grandparents place every summer from the third grade until my junior year at North.  The last time I fished over there was with my son in 1996.  Sorry to see another friend pass on.

I knew Jerry from McClean to John Marshall to North High. I rode in the same carpool with him & Danny, Larry& Gary. Jerry was a good school mate. He will be missed. He lived in the Twin Lakes area like the rest of us knucleheads.

As a member of the "car pool" gang, I too remember Jerry very well. He was a great guy. I second Danny's comment about his mom.

So sorry to hear about Jerry's death, he was a good friend.  I was on the wrestling team with Jerry, although I was there for the physical conditioning and Jerry was there to wrestle, he was a good wrestler.  As Mike said, Jerry was always willing to share his wrestling skills with others.  After high school, we were both in the same fraternity at KU.  He studied hard to get into the KU Medical School. We tried to find Jerry for our KU reunions, but could never find him.  Funny how you drift apart.

Its always shocking to me to see these familiar names with their pictures and now they are no longer with us. I believe I had PE with Jerry. And as so many have commented Jerry was genuinely a nice guy. I am sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers are with his family.

I worked with Dr. Wible at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Mo. I actually did not remember him while working there, but one of the nurses told me he had died and then I received the notification, and when I pulled up his picture, I did recognize him. He was a good doctor. Our class was so large it is hard to remember everyone. I am sorry that I did not know he was a North High Graduate.
