Cowan, Mary M. Frederick Age 71, retired KG&E customer service rep., passed away Tues., Sept. 11, 2018. Graveside, 10 a.m. Sat., Old Mission Cemetery, 3424 E. 21st St. N. Survivors include children, Wendy Tucker of Park City, KS; and Wesley Cowan of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, Shelby, Patrick, Kimmie, and Krystal; sisters, Ginger (Patrick) Burney of Leesburg, FL, and Sharon (Lyndon) Potter of Wichita, KS. I was so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. Mary was one of my first friends when my family moved to Wichita. Her family lived across the street. We went to Woodland, John Marshall and North together. I remember going to her and Grant’s wedding. I had not seen her since our 10th class reunion. My thoughts and prayers will be with her family as they go through this difficult time. She was such a nice person and friend.

I went all the way through school with Mary and she was in many of my classes. She was always so sweet and kind. She will be missed.
