North High School
Class Of 1965

Charlie Wilson, age 72, whom many of us knew as a good friend, lost his life recently.   Although not a graduate of 1965, several of our classmates were close with Charlie.  He was born August 5, 1946, and passed on February 9, 2018.    His Brother, Larry,  mentioned that the family will take Charlie's ashes to a few of his favorite places.  He also shared the following information:

"In November, Charles had artery surgery on his neck & surgery to repair pulmonary artery damage in his leg.  Since then he has been hospitalized twice, had two stays in rehabilitation facilities & lived in a long term facility recently.  He decided he wanted to live at his home.  On Friday, our Cousin Max stopped by at lunch and said Charles was not doing well.  After getting no answer when he called later, Max went to check on him and found him deceased.  At least he got to be at his home for a while.  Following his wishes he will be cremated and no service will be held.  Maybe you could go to NuWay and toast him with their famouse root beer.  (His favorite meal). "

Please keep Larry and the family in your thoughts and prayers.
